love it! i would do though, i have a major soft spot for floral names.
What do you think? baby girl name "Freesia"?
Love the flower, but not the name.
Reply:It makes me think of air freshener.
Reply:Sounds very fresh.
Wouldn't ever use it...lots of better options out there.
Reply:Just my opinion.... but I am not fond of it
Reply:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Reply:I don't care for it at all~ just my opinion...
Reply:I don't really like it.
Reply:It's actually all your choice. I think your daughter may be teased in elementry school, but I'm not the one to judge. If you like the name, you go ahead and name her Freesia, she is YOUR daughter, not mine or the other commenters.
Reply:Not for me, but maybe for someone who's Ethnic? Not trying to be stereotyping but it's certainly not an 'American' name.
Reply:I don't personally care for it. Even though it is a flower, it sounds like a soda pop to me.
What does what we think matter though. If you like it, that's what's important.
My grandmother says when you pick a name you should scream it three times out loud. If you still like it after that, you have a winner.
Reply:Freesia is a pretty spring flower, and a pretty sounding name, but the "free" or "freeze" sounds in the name may lead to unfortunately nicknames or teasing, depending on the child's personality.
Reply:I think "Hi, I'm Free, for the taking!"
Don't like it.
Reply:I don't really like it, it reminds me of a perfume.
A similar name I like is Francisca.
Reply:I don't like it.
Reply:Isn't that a scent at Bath %26amp; Body Works?
Reply:She will hate you later on if you saddle her with this name.
Reply:I don't want to be rude but honestly I don't like it.
Reply:I like it!

Reply:NOOOOO! WHy would you do that? If you want to name your kid after a flower why dont you use Lilly? Naming your kid freesia would be the equivalent of naming her something like tulip or hydrangea.
Reply:reminds me of Bath and Body Works. sounds too much like soap
Reply:eh. wouldn't be my first choice.
but it's definitely original?
Reply:I don't hate it, but it's kind of odd to me. I do know a little old French lady named Freesia. I wouldn't use it myself. If you like F names, how about:
Francesca
Fiona
Finley
Faith
Flora -means flower
Fiorella -also means flower.
If you like plant names, how about:
Ivy
Zinnia
Dahlia
Posey
Violet
Willow
Iris
Delilah
Poppy
Good luck!
Reply:DOnt like it at all sorry.
Reply:I don't like it- it's a flower that isn't particularly attractive and it doesn't smell very good on it's own either.
Reply:no! there is a lot of other flower names that are much better
Reply:DONT LIKE IT AT ALL.
Reply:I like LaFreesia better
Reply:its cute...she'll be free
