My freesia leaves are turning brown from the tips. What is the problem and how to fix it..?

It is only occurring in the potted freesias, those in the garden are ok.

2 things cause that to happen. Over watering or not enough.

I find it's usually over over watering. We all tend to kill our potted plants with to much kindness.
Reply:I have pretty much the same answer!

Overwatering, but also, maybe, over fertilization.

See the Freesia in the pot s can not get ridof the fertilizer as efficiently as the freezia in the ground.

Lastly Freesia might not like the HEAT of being couped up in a pot as the general coolness of the earth.
Reply:It's either drying out in the pot. Or it's getting too much water from the pot not draining. Two other possibilities would be the roots getting to cold at night or the roots were trimmed when the plant was transplanted but the foliage was not.
