I suffer from asthma can freesias affect it when i have some in house i cant breath?

If my asthma is playing up then having freesias in the house does make it worse.

So glad you posted up this question! I've always been a bit embarrassed about it and thought I must be weird!

wow yes hun all flowers can but freecias are so pungent bin them love xxx
Reply:here is the link for natural astma cure and prevention, this might help take a look..
Reply:yes all flowers that produce strong scents can aggravate asthma and hayfever etc, and freesias are quite strongly scented.
Reply:All flowers can affect asthma sufferers... some worse than others. Fresia and Lilys are notorious due to the large amount of pollen. My son has asthma and i can never have fresh cut flowers in the house (not that anyone ever buys me them). Its the pollen that causes hay-fever that affects the chest/lungs etc. Best thing to do is just to enjoy them from a distance... unfortunately.
Reply:maybe you are allergic to them? i would just avoid them completly if i was you. they have a very strong fragrance, so maybe that could be setting of your asthma.
Reply:Put them outside, if symptoms subside, leave them outside.

( I know, thats bad grammar, too many 'sides')
