I've never planted flower bulbs before, so I'm not sure how to care for them. The package just says plant April-May, bloom June-August. I loosened the dirt, dug holes about 2-3 inches deep, dropped in the bulbs and covered them and watered it. Now what? Do I need to water every day...fertilize...do anything special??
What do I need to do to be sure my Freesia bulbs grow?
First, I wouldn't water everyday - unless it's very hot out, and then only enough for them to get a "drink". Also, they tend to like alkaline soil... I put a couple of websites for you to look at below...the second one is more on "how to" help. Take a look!
